Brunch at Jay's Home Kitchen

IMG_4440

It was a sunny Saturday morning, I got up bright and early, getting myself ready for a wonderful brunch gathering organized and prepared by my dear friend K. Although there were only 5 of us and two very cute (and active) dogs, it was the perfect way to spend a weekend afternoon!

Everything was setup when we arrived at noon, the tables, beautiful floral cups, flowers and even background musics! I thought I was tele-transported to somewhere in Europe. Did I mention my friend K prepared a menu for this wondering event! OMG! ... She missed the Price at the bottom, it should say ... PRICELESS!

Of course I did what I have to do while my friends wait for me, taking pictures! It took me 10 mins this time, a recording breaking time perhaps? :) ... Just look at the milk bottle! It was purchased from Japan, so I guess I will be looking for such a thing when I visit Japan next time! So cute and ridiculously NICE!

I was quite serious when I told my friend K that I wanted to take those plates home! The pale greenish / blueish plates! I almost did but I am sure I would be chased down soon after!

The scones she prepared have different flavors and I prefer the Earl Grey one! Yum!

Bring out the pancakes please! I wished to eat the whole stack but my stomach just would not give in!

No matter from which angles, I really wanted to take those plates away!

We chatted, laughed, shared the moments from our younger years and of course what we plan to do in the near future. It was a wonderful time and I wish we can do this more often. Can we K? Thanks again for inviting us over for this wonderful meal! By the way, can I have those plates????? :)

Oh almost forgot to post the pictures of MoMo and Whooper! So cute!
